Mission Statement:

 

The Asian American Association Film Festival aims to project themes of self-identity and assimilation into society through the screening of select independent films that incorporate a wide range of ethnic groups. These films are personally chosen by AAA officers and serve to display contemporary issues such as racial stereotyping, prejudice, and hardship in America. By screening these films, we hope to raise Asian American awareness of these issues and subsequently expand the APIA community in UC Davis.
