Asian American Association (AAA) ​at UC Davis is a student-run, non-profit organization that serves to unify the Asian American communities on campus. We strive to promote cultural understanding of our unique experiences by encouraging self-awareness through an arena of political and social events that address the countless issues that the Asian American communities face.

 

In addition to organizing cultural events, discussions, community service opportunities, and social gatherings, AAA aims to help our members become more involved with their campus communities. In doing so, members can also strengthen their own networks and foster new friendships in hopes that they will go on and also become stronger leaders and student activists within their own communities.

While Asian American Studies classes may provide students with theories and context in the larger Asian American community, AAA offers an open space for anyone to join, discuss and learn about issues within the local Asian American communities. Our greatest emphasis is to establish a safe and nurturing space right here on the UC Davis campus that promotes awareness and involvement in the Asian American community on the campus.
